One APPEsat™ capsule contains a compressed, lyophilised sodium alginate active complex with added hydroxides. The capsule is made from Hydroxypropyl Cellulose (with Titanium Dioxide Colour). The product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans and is free from gluten, nuts and shellfish. It has no artificial flavours or preservatives.

Duration of use

Duration of use can vary significantly, depending on the objectives of the user.

Continued use for a period of three months is deemed to be harmless. Always use APPEsat according to the instructions.

Side effects

In isolated cases adverse reactions like stomach pain, flatulence, diarrhea, eructation (belching), indigestion and nausea might occur. Should you notice any of these reactions or other side effects, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Interactions

In general, no interactions with pharmaceuticals are known. However, similar to normal eating, it is not impossible for there to be an impact on the absorption of medication that has been taken at the same time. In such cases, it is advisable to take the medication one hour before the use of APPEsat™. If a very precise dosage of your current medication is important, please consult your doctor.

Contraindications

APPEsat™ must not be used if a hypersensitivity to one of the components is known. As a precaution, abstain from using APPEsat™ if you have gastrointestinal diseases (i.e. intestinal obstruction, inflammation or ulcers). If other actions have taken place to reduce the stomach volume (i.e. stomach balloon or gastric band), it is advised not to use APPEsat™.

If you have had any operations on your intestinal tract, or if you are unsure as to whether any contraindication applies to you, consult your doctor before taking APPEsat™.
